I was at a work event until later than I had anticipated and booked this hotel last minute- honestly, it was because it was the cheapest option (£70 for the night) that had an en suite bathroom and I didn’t fancy sharing! I realise I got a last minute ‘deal’ but my goodness this hotel was lovely! A beautiful period property. The person on the front desk was FANTASTIC. I called to say I was arriving late to check that was ok- all fine. He then upgraded me to a suite free of charge. Room was huge, bed was on a mezzanine and very comfortable and bathroom was very spacious and modern. Honestly couldn’t fault it and was a LOT cheaper than Travelodge.

The reviews I read for this hotel on Booking.com are a little harsh, in my opinion. However, I can only speak from my experience. Yes, there may be a few areas of the hotel which could do with a lick of paint or a change of the wallpaper, but overall, I had an excellent experience and I would happily recommend this hotel to friends and family. The style, feel and comfort of the hotel outweigh the few minor cosmetic improvements which I'm sure the staff are already aware of. The rooms and beds (I met friends there who were also very happy) were clean and comfortable. A minute walk from Warwick Avenue tube station.

Had a wonderful stay at the Colonnade. There were so many negative reviews, I was hesitant to book. I could see from the photos however, that the hotel had charm and character, unlike so many new hotels these days. When I arrived, Naz gave me a very warm welcome and I instantly knew I’d made the correct choice. Everything during my stay was to my liking and there was even a complimentary breakfast each morning, which hadn’t been advertised. Two minute walk from the tube station, really perfect. I’ll definitely be back :)

Stayed over for one night for a Noah Kahan concert on valentines and was the most romantic place I've ever been! Basement bar looked gorgeous, chocolatiere and florist shop 30 second walk, very convenient corner shop and small beautiful array of restaurants. For one night, 2 of us, £89 (which was a bargain and a half!) We were upgraded to the garden suite! Most gorgeous stunning reception and gorgeous room and windows and curtains and a mini fridge! AC was very welcomed as the room was so cosy and bathroom gorgeous

Excellent service, with very friendly and helpful staff, particularly the evening team on the front desk and restaurant/bar. I was very kindly upgraded, to a stunning and luxurious room - possibly one of the best hotel rooms that I’ve ever stayed in! The hotel itself is very clean, charming and in a brilliant, central location with easy access to plenty of London attractions and train stations etc. Overall, 10/10 for such a quality hotel that offers great value! Highly recommended!
